All of our collection is designed to absorb any light in order to charge it. In darker environments, your Moonglow jewellery will glow gently, mimicking the moon in the sky.

Moonglow Jewellery is made of high quality materials to prevent tarnishing over time. However, like anything else, it will experience a natural life cycle as well as normal wear & tear. We will happily replace any defective products within 30 days of delivery. Otherwise, treat your hand-made jewellery with care in order to extend the lifetime of the product.

Yes. The goal of our jewellery is to show an accurate photograph of the moon on any given date. We want you to look at your Moonglow and see exactly what was visible to the naked eye on the date of your choice. While percentages of the moon's illumination can vary by up to 3%, the phases assigned to the dates are calculated to reflect the changes that we can see from here on Earth!

In short, no. Water durability for Moonglow jewellery depends on which item you've purchased and what metal that style is made out of. Our jewellery will not immediately tarnish or turn green/black when it gets wet. Pewter, silver-plated, and stainless steel charms should be fine if briefly exposed to water, but in moderation. Just like anything else, too much exposure to anything will cause harm the item over time. Keep in mind, the pendants are a photograph of the moon, sealed with acrylic covering the photo. The photo could be damaged if water somehow seeps in between the metal exterior of the pedant and the acrylic coating reaching the photo. This is not very likely, but extended or excessive exposure to water increases this risk of damage. The water durability for chains also depends on their metal type. Pewter is not recommended to water exposure. Sterling silver and rhodium coated chains should be fine if moderately exposed to water, but again, in moderation and keeping them clean with appropriate cleaner is also suggested.

Don’t expose your moon pendant to cleaning chemicals, alcohol based perfumes, chlorine, soaps, sunscreen, or shampoos because it will effect the surface of your moon image over time. The occasional rub with a silver or gold polishing cloth can return your pendant bright and shiny again!

Your jewellery will come in a quality jewellery drawer type box. You will also receive a super cool personality pamphlet that explains what the phases of the moon means in relation to all the dates you picked. Included in your order is a Moonglow Jewellery Certificate of Authenticity, Care instructions and a Warranty card. It has an inside box gift wrap and anti tarnish strip to protect your jewellery while in storage.
